Air Astana is committed to a dynamic expansion of its route network: the airline, together with FlyArystan as part of the Air Astana Group, is planning new routes, more modern fleets and first-class services. This strengthens its position as the leading airline group in Central Asia and the Caucasus region.
Expansion of the route network
According to the Air Astana Group, the airline will offer new flight routes from Frankfurt from June 1, 2025. Daily flights to Astana and weekly flights to Uralsk will be complemented by additional flights to Almaty three days a week. Almaty is highlighted as the first destination in southern Kazakhstan with historical significance.
New destinations and route extensions
Air Astana will add connections to new international destinations such as Guangzhou, Nha Trang and Da Nang in March 2025, and Mumbai from April. This expansion will continually expand the route network, allowing passengers from Europe to reach a wider range of Asian destinations.
Fleet Expansion and Sustainability
By 2028, the Air Astana Group plans to expand its fleet to up to 80 aircraft. The inclusion of new aircraft, such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, underlines the airline’s commitment to modern and environmentally friendly air transport. The fleet’s young aircraft aim to reduce fuel consumption as well as CO2 and noise emissions.
