Competition for young talents

For the 22nd time, is offering young innovators the opportunity to take part in the renowned “Jugend forscht – Junior” competition. The event also celebrates the 60th anniversary of Jugend forscht and represents an important springboard for young scientists. Over two days, 86 participants between the ages of ten and 19 will present their creative solutions and scientific experiments. This event aims to promote the creative skills and innovative potential of young people.

Diversity of projects

From the world of work, biology and chemistry to mathematics/computer science, and spatial sciences, physics and , the projects presented cover a wide range of scientific questions. Participants like the students at Ismaning High School want to impress with an AI model to make communication with deaf people easier. Another notable contribution comes from students at the Josef-Hofmiller-Gymnasium, who are working on the development of a biodegradable bioplastic from leftover fruit peel.
