At the 22nd regional competition “Youth research – Youth research junior” at Munich Airport, 86 young scientists demonstrated their skills. With 41 innovative projects from various specialist areas, they impressed the jury, which determined the winners. Winners can qualify for further competitions and even reach the national finals.
Innovative projects in focus
Under the motto “Turn questions into answers,” the young researchers presented a total of 41 creative projects. The subject areas ranged from the world of work, biology, chemistry to physics and technology. Diverse ideas reflected the high potential of the young talents, who also addressed complicated scientific questions in their projects.
Influence of the expert jury
A 28-member jury of knowledgeable experts evaluated the projects. Their expertise ensured that the best applications were selected. The criteria for the evaluation included originality, thematic depth and the practical applicability of the solutions presented.
“Youth research” winners and winning projects
Among the winners were Pauline Bandmann with her project about an assistive flower pot and Clara Proksch, who worked on cleanliness in playgrounds. Other excellent projects dealt with physical and mathematical topics and impressively demonstrated the scientific curiosity of the participants.
Looking into the future
Qualifying for the Bavarian state competition opens up new opportunities for the winners. They can further develop their projects and possibly present them at the federal level. The competition not only promotes individual talents, but also strengthens interest in science and technology among young people.
