China Airlines has placed a firm order for ten A350-1000s with Airbus. This move symbolizes the airline‘s expansion strategy and commitment to enhancing the travel experience. The new aircraft will primarily be used on long-haul routes to North America and Europe.

China Airlines has confirmed the purchase of ten Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. These new aircraft will complement the existing A350-900 fleet and strengthen the airline‘s long-haul capabilities. The move follows a previous announcement from December 2024 and is in line with the airline’s international growth strategy. The A350-1000 promises to ensure smooth integration into the airline’s existing operations and offer increased efficiency.
Technological superiority and environmental awareness of the A350-1000
The model chosen by China Airlines, the A350-1000, is recognized as the world’s most advanced long-haul aircraft. It not only offers superior range thanks to the latest generation of Rolls-Royce engines, but also a 25% fuel saving compared to previous models. In addition to its efficiency, the A350-1000 has the capability to use up to 50% sustainable aviation fuel, a figure Airbus aims to increase to 100% by 2030.
