Boeing and Japan Airlines (JAL) have signed an order for 17 737-8 jets to leverage the efficiency and flexibility of the 737 MAX. The goal is to deploy the new 737 MAX on the strong domestic network and capitalize on the ongoing surge in tourism. This brings JAL’s 737 MAX backlog to 38 firm orders.
Fleet modernization with the 737-8
