The Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines recently launched its new route from Dortmund to Antalya, further expanding its route network from Dortmund. This new connection is seen as an asset for travelers and the large Turkish community in the Ruhr area who want to visit family and friends.
Antalya: New flight to the heart of the Turkish Riviera
With the launch of Pegasus Airlines’ first flight from Dortmund to Antalya, travelers now have an additional opportunity to visit the popular holiday destinations of the Turkish Riviera. The route will be offered up to six times a week until the end of the summer schedule. Antalya, known for its long sandy beaches and mild climate, attracts tourists from all over the world. From Dortmund, not only are vacation and holiday options now available, but also the opportunity to explore cultural treasures such as Antalya’s historic Old Town and the ancient Hadrian’s Gate.
Expanding the offering for the Turkish community
This new flight connection not only contributes to the revitalization of air traffic between Germany and Turkey, but also offers the Turkish community in the Ruhr region a welcome opportunity to regularly return to their roots. Pegasus Airlines thus complements the existing Istanbul route and offers travelers even more flexibility.
