New flight connection strengthens North American presence
EVA AIR announced that the new Taipei-Dallas service will begin operations on October 3. With three weekly flights, the airline will expand its North American route network to a total of nine airports. Dallas will become EVA AIR’s ninth U.S. destination, joining Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver.
The airline will operate the route with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft according to the following schedule:
Route | Flight no. | Frequency | Departure | Arrival |
Taipei-Dallas | BR50 | 3.5.7 | 19:10 | 19:40 |
Dallas – Taipei | BR49 | 3.5.7 | 22:50 | 04:05+2 |
Strategic reasons for choosing Dallas
Dallas was chosen as the new destination due to its economic growth and growing passenger demand. EVA AIR President Clay Sun emphasized that Dallas has developed into an economic and commercial center, making it an ideal complement to the existing network. The connection will improve convenience and flexibility for passengers traveling between Taiwan and North America.
Benefits for passengers
With the new service, EVA Air expects to attract more passengers from North America for connecting flights to its main hub in Taiwan. Passengers from Dallas will have a direct early morning connection to Taoyuan International Airport, with seamless connections to other Asian destinations. This offers travelers even greater flexibility and makes planning their trips easier.
Economic and cultural opportunities in Dallas
Dallas, known as the fourth-largest metropolitan area in the United States, is home to over 8.3 million residents, as well as numerous multinational corporations and cultural attractions. With over 20 Fortune 500 companies, the region is a major economic center. The new connection strengthens business and cultural ties between Taiwan and the United States by providing access to a market with great economic vitality.
